Most EBRD 2015 Annual Meeting & Business Forum events will take place at the Parliament Building which is the main hub of the event.

The opening of the Business Forum and the Opening Session of the Board of Governors will take place at the Rustaveli Theatre.

Registration and the Civil Society Programme will take place at the Youth Palace.

Networking lunches will take place at the Georgian National Museum.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has kindly agreed that all the participants of the 2015 EBRD Annual Meeting in Tbilisi, as well as accompanying persons, will be exempted from visa requirements from 1-31 May 2015.

A shuttle bus service for Annual Meeting participants is provided to and from; the airport, all official hotels and all additional hotels managed by Levon Travel. Shuttle buses will take participants to the Annual Meeting venues from official hotels. Timetables and routes will be made available at the airport on arrival and at the Annual Meeting reception lobbies.
The official Annual Meeting venues: the Parliament Building, Georgian National Museum, National Youth Palace and the Rustaveli Theatre are all within close proximity of each other and particpants are encouraged to walk between them.
There are two metro stations located on Rustaveli Avenue: Freedom Square Metro Station and Rustaveli Metro Station. Freedom Square Metro is closer to the Parliament Building and the other venues on Rustaveli Avenue.
Please refer to the table of local bus routes. Bus numbers 6, 14, 20, 23, 31, 37, 46, 61, 87, 88, 90, 103, 112, 124, 150 can be accessed from Kachueti Church bus station opposite the Parliament Building.
Bus numbers 6, 14, 20, 23, 31, 33, 37, 42, 46, 61, 80, 87, 88, 95, 140, 150 can be accessed from Pushkin Square bus station near Freedom Square. 
There are several taxi companies in Tbilisi. Taxis can be easily arranged via hotel receptions and some hotels provide a car service payable to the repsective hotel. The majority of taxi companies do not accept card payments. A suggested taxi company is Toyota Taxi & Shuttle, T: +995 32 251 1511.

Food and Drink

Commercial catering points will be located in Networking Areas A (Block A) and B (Block B) of the Parliament Building . Credit Cards and local currency will be accepted at all commercial catering points. 

The Networking Breakfasts will be available on Thursday 14 May at the Rustaveli Theatre and on Friday 15 May at the Parliament Building. Networking Lunches on both days will take place at The National Museum. Networking Breakfasts and Lunches are complimentary.

Wifi Network Access

A wireless network is available throughout the venue.

First Aid

The Georgian National Health Service are providing emergency medical aid at the Parliament Building, located in the designated first aid room.  The medical staff will be supported by an ambulance outside the Parliament Building and similarly an ambulance will support events at our official venues.


Security will be strictly enforced in all the Annual Meeting venues. To ensure the safety of all participants, security badges must be displayed at all times in the venues. Under no circumstances should your security badge be lent to another participant. At the venues entrances, participants will be required to pass through security checks and to have their belongings screened and, if necessary, searched.

Onsite Information

The cloakroom is located on the ground floor of the Parliament Building in Networking Area B.

Staff at the Information Desks can advise on all aspects of the Annual Meeting and Business Forum. Contact details for offices of official delegations or EBRD staff at the event can be found at the desks. Information about existing EBRD projects, financing of new projects across all of the Bank’s existing countries and sectors can also be found here.

Staff at the desks can arrange meetings between EBRD representatives and people taking part at the Annual Meeting and book meeting rooms for you. It is also possible to book meeting rooms via email at Informal meetings can also be held in the Networking Area.

The Internet Café is located in the Networking Areas of the Parliament Building. The PCs provide internet access as well as access to the MyEBRD mobile-based networking tool.

Visit MyEBRD Information Desk in the Networking Area B of the Parliament Building to learn how to make the most out of the mobile-based application. You can create your own agenda, set-up meetings and much more.

Please note that smoking is not permitted in any areas of all four event venues.
